The Mingle chair is built using durable materials chosen for their ability to perform outdoors with minimal upkeep. It is available in High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) and phenolic finishes, both designed to handle exposure to weather and regular use.
HDPE is made from recycled plastic that is compressed into dense panels. The material holds its color throughout and resists moisture, corrosion, and UV exposure. Unlike traditional wood furniture, HDPE does not absorb water or require sealing or refinishing. It also resists cracking, splintering, and rust, making it well suited for patios, poolside areas, and coastal environments.
For a wood-inspired appearance, the chair can also be paired with phenolic surfaces. Phenolic is often used in exterior architectural applications because of its stability and resistance to moisture. It is produced by layering FSC-certified kraft paper infused with phenolic resin and compressing it under high pressure between protective laminate layers. The result is a dense and durable surface that maintains its shape and finish over time.
The chair’s seat and back are shaped to provide comfortable support, allowing guests to sit comfortably through extended meals and conversations. Its sturdy construction meets commercial-grade standards, making it suitable for both residential use and higher-traffic environments such as restaurants, resorts, and outdoor cafés.

Materials
HDPE Finishes
Our HDPE Finishes are made from recycled high-density polyethylene, a durable material designed for long-term outdoor use. The recycled plastic is formed into dense panels that are structurally stable, impact-resistant, and color consistent throughout.
HDPE is waterproof, UV-resistant, and resistant to rot, corrosion, and moisture. It will not crack, splinter, or require sealing or painting, even in harsh climates. At the end of its lifecycle, it can be recycled again, supporting a circular material system.

Care Instructions
Simply wipe down with soapy water and washcloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or anything abrasive, such as a scouring pad, as that may dull the material. All pieces are scratch resistant, waterproof and will never need to be refinished or painted.
