Please send all inquiries to products@shopboxhill.com, and tell us why you love it, and what makes it outdoor-worthy.
Customer Service & Support
How do I contact BOXHILL for support?
We provide personalized service, so you’ll always speak to a real person who understands outdoor design and marine-grade furniture specifications, not a generic call center.
Can I request product samples or swatches?
Yes. BOXHILL offers performance-tested fabric swatches, finish samples, and fire pit color chips to help designers and architects specify confidently.
Does BOXHILL support designers and architects with project advocacy?
Yes. We act as partners for architects and designers, helping with procurement, logistics, and specification to ensure outdoor projects succeed from concept to installation.
Does BOXHILL offer white-glove delivery?
Yes! For select items, we can arrange white-glove delivery—a premium service designed to make receiving your furniture as seamless as possible. Our team coordinates every detail, from scheduling to placement, ensuring your pieces arrive exactly where they belong—assembled, inspected, and ready to enjoy.
White-glove delivery is especially valuable for large or delicate items, multi-unit projects, or commercial installations where time and precision matter. While this service comes at an additional cost, many clients find the convenience and peace of mind well worth it. Pricing varies by order and location, so simply let us know your preference when requesting a quote, and we’ll provide an estimate.
Because great design deserves great care, we’re happy to handle the heavy lifting—literally.
Does BOXHILL accept returns?
It depends. If a product arrives in a damaged condition, we will absolutely authorize a return. However, we work with many vendors at BOXHILL, and all are unique. (That’s what we love about them!) With that lovable uniqueness comes everyone’s individual rules on returns, and this is where we, as BOXHILL, must adhere to their return policy. If returns are accepted, we do our best to include this in the product description, but if you have a question about a specific item, please contact us before purchasing by sending an email to returns@shopboxhill.com.
Where is my order?
We make every effort to update you on your order through our site’s internal messaging system. You should receive an email from our system when you purchase, and that same system will allow you to reach us directly. If you are not receiving updates via our system, please send us an email at orders@shopboxhill.com, so that we may respond to you promptly.
Do you offer a trade discount?
Absolutely – we LOVE our trade clients! We are happy to extend a discount to industry professionals, which typically range from 5%-20%, depending on the vendor. All we ask is that you fill out our BOXHILL Trade Application Form – this allows us to verify your trade status, and it also helps us keep our paperwork in-line for tax purposes. Please email your completed application to trade@shopboxhill.com, and let us know which product(s) you are interested in purchasing. We will develop a custom invoice for you to purchase your item(s) with a trade discount.
You sell a line of products that I like, but not the specific item you need. Can I still buy this item through you?
Of course -- sometimes, we find out about the newest items on the market from our clients, before the vendors have had a chance to send out an official marketing release! If you would like to purchase an item that you don’t currently see offered on BOXHILL’s site, please contact us at trade@shopboxhill.com, and let us see if we can help you. If you are the first to let us know about a new product, we’ll even include a “finder’s fee” discount for your purchase!
Can I get custom dimensions/colors on a particular product?
Often times, yes. We offer many products that are crafted by hand, instead of being mass-produced. Some of our artisans are happy to create an item to your specifications. There will likely be a small charge for a custom order, but we’ll help you track down all of that information – please email us at trade@shopboxhill.com with your specific requests.
How long will it take to receive my product?
It depends. While some products are generated en masse and can ship immediately, others are crafted upon order and can take several weeks. Additionally, the popularity of a product will sometimes cause it to sell out. We do our best to estimate the approximate delivery/wait time of an item in its product description, but if you have a “must have by” date in mind, the best thing to do is email us at orders@shopboxhill.com. Because we frequently ship the item directly to the client from the vendor, we are able to work with them to determine exact shipment/transit times.
How do you determine your shipping costs?
Good question – this can be a tricky process. We do our best to estimate the overall cost of shipping based on information we receive from the vendor, as well as our past experience with orders of a particular item. We are always happy to give you a custom shipping quote on larger items or orders of multiples. Please contact us at orders@shopboxhill.com so that we may prepare you an invoice and place it on the shop for you to purchase.
I’m ordering multiples of an item, and the shipping cost is outrageous! What’s going on??
Yikes! We’re sorry about that…we base our shipping estimations on the price of shipping a single item. Sometimes, our site doesn’t “play nice” when customers attempt to order multiples of single items. We’ve made some recent adjustments to BOXHILL that should default to calculate most shipments based on weight, but there will be the occasional order that still needs some “staff intervention.” If you would like for us to review your estimated shipping costs, please contact us at orders@shopboxhill.com. There are a number of ways that we can help adjust the cost of your order to reflect a more precise cost of shipping.
I’m having technical difficulties with your site.
Oh no! Unfortunately, this happens from time to time. Often, it is something that is at the hosting platform level and is out of our control. Other times, there may be a small error associated with a specific product. Either way, please drop us an email and let us know what’s going on! Email your issues to help@shopboxhill.com, and we will start working to resolve your issue immediately.

Landscape Design Services
Do you work in Phoenix area?
Yes, we work in several areas outside of Tucson. Due to the cost of commuting, we do factor in additional travel charges to your bid to offset the costs. Please contact us at elizabeth@boxhilldesign.com for specifics.
My yard is okay, but I don’t know what to put in it. Can you come and help me style my yard? I need someone to tell me what kind of furniture, rugs, pillows, lights, etc., I should buy.
No problem! We get this request all of the time. We’re happy to help you style your yard. We can give you recommendations that are a broad as an overall decorating style, or as specific as showing you the perfect pot for a particular corner.
Do I get a discount on the shop if I am a design client?
Absolutely. We offer all of our clients exclusive discounts in our online store. Discounts are sometimes limited by terms of the vendor, but you can expect a minimum discount of 10% to our clients, and more whenever possible.
How does the design process work?
This is a question that we frequently get from clients who are planning their first major landscape design. It can be a daunting task for both our first-time clients, and our seasoned homeowners. In order to give you a complete picture of how the process works, we’ve explained it in detail, here: Our Design Process. If you have additional questions that we haven’t covered, or if you need additional clarification, please email us at elizabeth@boxhilldesign.com.
Do you do install?
No, but we have been in the landscape design business for over 15 years, and we have carefully groomed a team of trusted installers that we work with on a regular basis. We have years of experience working with our team of installers, and we endorse both their quality of work and their business practices. We will work with you to help you attain bids from our installers. If you prefer, you may also use your own installers for your design.
You don’t install...does that mean you do the design and leave me?
Never. Our name goes on every design, so we have a vested interest in making sure that the installation is flawless. We make periodic site visits during the installation, and we are available whenever there is an issue that needs to be worked out. Additionally, we look forward to making a strong relationship with you – one in which we can work together for years to come. Hoping to preserve that, we also do a 6-month walk-through – at no charge – during which we do a follow-up with you, and we review the growth and maturity of your yard. Bottom line – we want you to love your space, and we like helping you get there!
Can my backyard be in a magazine?
Why not? We are regularly featured in local and national magazines for our design work, and we would love to see your space showcased! We receive photo requests for several types of features, so it doesn’t matter if your design is modest or expansive. We routinely take “before and after” pictures, and we frequently schedule professional shoots, once a yard has had a chance to mature from the initial installation. Whenever a project of ours is featured, we keep your personal information and the exact location of your property private.
