Catalina Outdoor Teak Ottoman
The Catalina Outdoor Ottoman is part of the Catalina Outdoor Collection, developed to provide functional outdoor seating components that support comfort-focused arrangements. The ottoman is designed to work as a footrest, an auxiliary seat, or a modular complement to other Catalina pieces in outdoor lounge areas.
The frame is constructed from sustainably sourced solid Indonesian teak. Teak is used for its resistance to moisture, cracking, decay, and general outdoor wear. Its density and natural oils support stability in exterior environments. The ottoman frame is built using controlled joinery and material thicknesses appropriate for long-term outdoor use.
The ottoman includes one seat cushion engineered for outdoor conditions. The cushion uses quick-dry flow-through foam to support drainage and drying after exposure to moisture. A Dacron wrap increases surface comfort while maintaining structural support. The cushion fabric resists mildew, stains, and fading, making it suitable for routine outdoor exposure. The cushion is removable to allow for cleaning or seasonal storage.
This ottoman can function as a standalone seating surface or as a functional addition to the Catalina Outdoor Easy Lounge Chair or Catalina Outdoor Sofa. Its dimensions support use on patios, decks, poolside environments, or covered outdoor rooms. The height alignment allows it to integrate into modular seating layouts where extended leg support or added lounge surface is needed.
Care and maintenance involve periodic cleaning of the teak frame using mild soap and water. Teak will naturally weather to a silver tone unless treated with teak-specific oils or sealants. Surface buildup should be removed periodically to support even aging. Cushion covers should be spot-cleaned with mild soap and allowed to dry fully before use. To limit UV exposure, moisture retention, and debris accumulation, custom outdoor covers are recommended.

Materials
Body/Finish: Indonesian Teak
Teak furniture is made from 100% sustainably sourced Indonesian teak, purchased through legally harvested channels in Indonesia. Our Natural Teak finish is untreated teak, highlighting the beauty of the premium grade logs we source for our production. This swatch is indicative of the tonality of the wood when it first is unboxed, but may vary slightly due to the organic nature of the wood. As Teak lives in the sun, moisture and elements, it will naturally begin to get a silver–grey coloration which will increase in patina over time. This is part of the beauty of teak and does not sacrifice the durability or life. If the original natural color is desired, there are cleaning, sanding and oiling methods to bring it back to it’s original coloration. Weather Cover also are suggested to slow down this process and keep your furniture in it’s best condition.
Fabric:
Copacabana is a 100% Olefin fabric milled in Indonesia, offering exceptional weather resistance, faster drying, and greater mold resistance than polyester. Sourced from Sunproof by Ateja, it’s made from fully recyclable, eco-friendly materials and pairs beautifully with our sustainably sourced Indonesian teak furniture.
Milled in Spain from 100% solution-dyed acrylic yarn, this fabric resists sun, moisture, mildew, and staining—making it a true workhorse for outdoor living. Its flat, consistent square weave gives it a lightweight yet substantial feel, built to handle the elements with ease. Sourced from Tuvatextil’s Agora range, Panama is stocked widely across our collections and comes in five colorways.

Care + Maintenance
Teak
- Maintain the original quality of the teak by applying HARBOUR Teak Cleaner at the beginning and end of each season.
- To keep the surfaces clean from dirt, mold and mildew, periodically hose with water and HARBOUR Teak Cleaner, scrubbing in the directions of the grain.
- For stubborn areas, use a power washer to clean. Hold the power washer approximately 30” away from the furniture and do not exceed 1200 PSI. Rinse and then allow to sun dry.
- Exposure to moisture over time can raise the wood grain.
- A light sanding with fine 120-grit sandpaper smooths the surface.
Upholstery and Inserts
- To prevent embedded dirt stains, use a soft-bristle brush to frequently dust and remove dirt from the fabric.
For everyday stains:
- Use a mild cleaner with warm water or Fabric Cleaner and a soft-bristle brush and rinse thoroughly.
- Tip cushions on their sides with the zipper facing down and unzipped to ensure that all water drains.
- Once completely dry, apply cushion covers and follow our tips below to repel dirt and moisture.
For mold and mildew:
- Soak cushions in a 1:20 bleach-to-water solution, wash with diluted dishwashing liquid, and rinse thoroughly.
- Power wash at 1200 PSI only; higher pressure can damage fibers. Keep the washer about 30 inches away from the cushion.
- After washing, tip cushions on their sides with the zipper unzipped and facing down to let all water drain.
Special Considerations
"Gray Teak" is solid teak wood finished with a solution that expedites the aging process of teak to a natural silver tone. Over time, the natural weathering of Gray Teak will cause its appearance to change in color and texture, with possible marks and cracks. By ordering Gray Teak, you accept these characteristics and agree that no claim will be approved regarding the natural aging process of teak or the special color qualities associated with the Gray Teak finish. Special care should be taken to protect this natural finish.
