The BOXHILL Pivot Model Round Fire Pit Screen is a precision-crafted safety screen designed for effortless fire management and refined outdoor living. Featuring a domed silhouette with a pivot-access design, this screen allows both sides to lift away smoothly—offering convenient access to the fire without fully removing the screen. It creates a protective enclosure that contains sparks and embers, even in windy conditions, while maintaining clear visibility of the flame.

Each Pivot Model Fire Pit Screen is made in the USA and fully welded and assembled for long-term durability and dependable performance. The frame is constructed from 1/4″ × 1″ solid steel flat bar, providing exceptional rigidity and balance for consistent placement over the fire pit opening.

The domed structure is engineered to improve airflow while preventing ash, embers, and debris from escaping. Finished with a high heat–resistant, electrostatically applied black coating, the screen is designed to withstand repeated exposure to fire and outdoor elements while maintaining a clean, understated appearance.

Material configurations are available to suit different environments and design requirements:

• Carbon Steel – Durable and classic with a black high-temperature finish

• Hybrid Construction – Carbon steel frame paired with stainless steel mesh for added corrosion resistance

• All Stainless Steel – Stainless steel frame and mesh, ideal for coastal or high-moisture settings

Important: Stainless steel mesh is included with both the Hybrid and All Stainless Steel options.

Designed to cover fire pit openings ranging from 24″ to 29″ in diameter, the screen’s height is proportionally scaled to half the diameter of the selected size, ensuring balanced coverage and visual harmony.

Installation & Placement

Proper sizing is essential for optimal performance. To determine the correct size, measure the inside diameter of your fire pit and add 4″—this allows the screen to sit securely over the opening while effectively limiting oxygen flow and containing embers.

Installation is tool-free. Simply place the screen over the fire pit opening, ensuring it sits level and centered. The pivot-access design allows each side to lift independently, making it easy to add wood or adjust logs while minimizing disruption and maintaining safety.

After use, allow the screen to cool completely before handling. For care, remove ash buildup periodically and clean with a dry or lightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners that may damage the finish. When not in use for extended periods, storing the screen in a covered, dry area will help preserve its appearance and performance.
