Craftsmanship and Patina
- Our fire pits are crafted using 1/4" mild carbon steel, and they undergo a meticulous sandblasting process that brings them down to their purest form. We then apply our "secret sauce" to initiate a controlled oxidation process, allowing the piece to mature and develop its unique character.
- Upon arrival, you'll notice a dusty, powdery iron oxide patina, resembling rust. With each subsequent fire, the patina will gradually mature and darken, evolving into a rich and enduring hue.
- Wood-burning fire pits mature more rapidly, given their higher temperatures (900 degrees), while gas-fueled fire pits mature at a slower rate (200 degrees). With each fire, you'll witness a fascinating transformation in the patina's color.

All SATURN fire pits are made to order. Production begins once your order is confirmed.
Because each unit is individually fabricated, sandblasted, and powder coated to your selected finish, timelines may vary depending on size, customization, and current production volume. For the most accurate and up-to-date schedule, we recommend contacting our team prior to ordering.
Shipping Method:
Ships via LTL freight (Less-Than-Truckload) with residential curbside delivery. Due to the substantial weight (175–345 lbs.), we recommend having assistance available for placement upon arrival.
As a handcrafted steel piece, slight variations in finish and color are part of the character of the product and reflect its custom fabrication process.
