The chair is constructed with an exposed aluminum tube frame finished in a bronze powder-coated surface. This finish improves resistance to corrosion, moisture, and UV exposure, making the frame suitable for year-round outdoor use. Seating and back support are formed using twisted all-weather rope in the Dune colorway. The rope is handwoven to provide structural support while maintaining flexibility and comfort during extended seating periods. Integrated outdoor cushions enhance comfort and are designed to withstand outdoor conditions when properly maintained.
Cushion upholstery is available in a range of outdoor fabric options. Siesta Ivory is offered as a stocked fabric, while additional fabrics including Siesta Taupe, Siesta Indigo, Riviera, Panama, Copacabana, and Lisos collections are available as custom options. These fabrics are engineered for outdoor performance, offering resistance to fading, moisture, and everyday wear. The chair’s proportions support standard outdoor dining table heights, with a seat height of 19.3 inches for ergonomic dining comfort.
This armless dining chair is suitable for pairing with rectangular or round outdoor dining tables and can be used individually or in sets. Its armless construction allows chairs to be positioned closely together, maximizing seating capacity. The design is compatible with other seating and dining elements from the Formentera collection, allowing coordinated outdoor layouts. The chair is not modular but integrates easily into a wide range of outdoor dining configurations.
For installation, place the chair on a level outdoor surface to ensure stability. Routine care includes regularly brushing fabric surfaces with a soft-bristle brush to remove dirt. For general cleaning, use mild soap and water and rinse thoroughly. Cushions should be positioned on their sides with zippers open to allow proper drainage and drying. Once fully dry, a fabric protector may be applied to help repel moisture and dirt. For mold or mildew, follow a diluted bleach solution as recommended and rinse completely. Proper care will help extend the product’s lifespan and appearance.

Milled in Spain from 100% solution-dyed acrylic yarn, this fabric resists sun, moisture, mildew, and staining—making it a true workhorse for outdoor living.
Sourced from Italy, Riviera is a fully outdoor performance fabric with a knubby texture similar to luxe boucle or terry cloth. Despite its soft, indoor-like feel, it’s made from 100% polypropylene, making it resistant to sun, moisture, sweat, mildew, and stains.
Milled in Italy, Siesta is our premium outdoor fabric that delivers true luxury. Though it looks and feels like indoor linen, its double-thickness basket-weave is made from 100% polypropylene, giving it sun, stain, and water resistance.
Rope: Twisted Rope Dune
Soft to the touch but incredibly strong, our Outdoor ropes bring a tactility and warmth to the frames they adorn. Special to this rope is a twisted detail in the fiber, echoing a nautical and natural aesthetic. Crafted from Olefin, an incredible weather resistant fiber that is more resistant to mold and faster drying than polyester, our workshop wraps and weaves each piece of furniture by hand with this rope.

Care + Maintenance
Powder Coated Aluminum

Furniture should be thoroughly cleaned often using a soft towel and mild soap.

In coastal locations, furniture should be washed with a mild soap and rinsed frequently to remove salt deposits.

A solution of 1:1 white distilled vinegar and water can be used to help remove water spots. Then rinse with water and dry with a soft cloth.
- Do not use any harsh solvent-based, abrasive or stainless steel cleaners.
Upholstery and Inserts
For everyday stains:

Use a mild cleaner with warm water or Fabric Cleaner and a soft-bristle brush and rinse thoroughly.

Tip cushions on their sides with the zipper facing down and unzipped to ensure that all water drains.

Once completely dry, apply cushion covers and follow our tips below to repel dirt and moisture.
For mold and mildew:

Soak cushions in a 1:20 bleach-to-water solution, wash with diluted dishwashing liquid, and rinse thoroughly.

Power wash at 1200 PSI only; higher pressure can damage fibers. Keep the washer about 30 inches away from the cushion.
- After washing, tip cushions on their sides with the zipper unzipped and facing down to let all water drain.
Olefin Rope

For spot cleaning: Brush off any dirt or debris with a soft bristle brush or spray off with a hose.

For a deeper cleaning: Mix warm water with a mild soap and clean with a soft bristle brush.

Do not use abrasive cleansers.
