The Formentera Rectangle Outdoor Coffee Table is designed to provide a durable and stylish surface for outdoor living areas. Its rectangular shape allows for easy pairing with lounge chairs, sofas, or armless outdoor seating pieces.

The frame is constructed from exposed aluminum tubing, providing structural stability and resistance to corrosion, moisture, and UV exposure. The handwoven twisted all-weather rope in the Dune color forms the table’s maritime-inspired design, adding visual interest while ensuring durability and flexibility for outdoor use. The table top is available in either Marble Verde or Travertine Natural, offering a hard, weather-resistant surface suitable for daily use. Both stone options are selected for outdoor performance and are easy to clean when properly maintained.

This coffee table functions well as a standalone centerpiece or as part of a coordinated furniture grouping. Its rectangular shape and proportions—59.1 inches wide, 31.5 inches deep, and 14.2 inches high—allow for versatile placement and compatibility with a wide range of outdoor furniture pieces. While not modular, it integrates seamlessly into the Formentera collection, enhancing cohesive outdoor layouts.

For installation, place the table on a flat, stable surface. Routine maintenance includes brushing the rope with a soft-bristle brush or rinsing with a hose to remove dirt. For stone tops, brush off loose debris, clean with mild soap and warm water using a soft cloth or sponge, and rinse thoroughly. Dry completely to prevent water spots. Use coasters to protect the stone surface and immediately clean spills to avoid staining or etching. Avoid abrasive or acid-based cleaners. Custom outdoor covers are recommended to protect the table from weather exposure and extend its lifespan. If exposed to saltwater, rinse weekly to prevent residue buildup.

Materials

• Rope: Twisted Rope Dune

Soft to the touch but incredibly strong, our Outdoor ropes bring a tactility and warmth to the frames they adorn. Special to this rope is a twisted detail in the fiber, echoing a nautical and natural aesthetic. Crafted from Olefin, an incredible weather resistant fiber that is more resistant to mold and faster drying than polyester, our workshop wraps and weaves each piece of furniture by hand with this rope. Used first in our Formentera by Kara Mann collection, our designs use the quality of the rope as an aesthetic play on linearity and form – bringing beautiful shadows and dimensions to the elegant form of the furniture.

• Stone: Marble Verde or Travertine Natural

Marble Verde is a beautiful and unique stone that we hand–select for our outdoor production. With deep green tones and organic swirling patterns of white throughout, it is an elegant but unique accent found in our Formentera collection. Honed for a matte finish, the stone is sealed with outdoor sealant prior to completion, protecting it from basic stains and weathering.

Travertine is a sedimentary limestone deposited by mineral springs with formations located all around the world and is characterized by organic pitting and beautiful and subtle patterns . Our Cream Travertine is hand-selected for its ivory and light tonality - a perfect compliment to our teak collections. While incredibly strong and durable, we seal our Travertine in the production process, adding an extra layer of protection from use and the elements.

Care + Maintenance

Powder Coated Aluminum

• Furniture should be thoroughly cleaned often using a soft towel and mild soap.
• In coastal locations, furniture should be washed with a mild soap and rinsed frequently to remove salt deposits.
• A solution of 1:1 white distilled vinegar and water can be used to help remove water spots. Then rinse with water and dry with a soft cloth.
  
• Do not use any harsh solvent-based, abrasive or stainless steel cleaners.

Upholstery and Inserts

For everyday stains:

• Use a mild cleaner with warm water or Fabric Cleaner and a soft-bristle brush and rinse thoroughly.
• Tip cushions on their sides with the zipper facing down and unzipped to ensure that all water drains.
• Once completely dry, apply cushion covers and follow our tips below to repel dirt and moisture.

For mold and mildew:

• Soak cushions in a 1:20 bleach-to-water solution, wash with diluted dishwashing liquid, and rinse thoroughly.
• Power wash at 1200 PSI only; higher pressure can damage fibers. Keep the washer about 30 inches away from the cushion.
• After washing, tip cushions on their sides with the zipper unzipped and facing down to let all water drain.

Olefin Rope

• For spot cleaning: Brush off any dirt or debris with a soft bristle brush or spray off with a hose.
• For a deeper cleaning: Mix warm water with a mild soap and clean with a soft bristle brush.
• Do not use abrasive cleansers.
• Rinse with water and dry with a soft cloth.
