Byron Outdoor Teak Counter Stool
The Byron Teak Outdoor Counter Stool is part of the Byron Outdoor Collection, designed to provide stable, durable seating for exterior counter-height environments. The collection uses materials selected for their long-term performance in outdoor conditions. The stool serves as a practical seating option for outdoor counters, bar areas, and mixed-use exterior layouts.
This counter stool is built with a solid Indonesian teak frame that is handcrafted in the workshop for structural precision. Teak is used due to its natural resistance to moisture, cracking, and rot, making it suitable for continuous outdoor exposure. Brass stretchers reinforce the frame and contribute to its rigidity. The seat uses Batyline mesh, an outdoor-engineered sling material designed for tensile stability, UV resistance, and long-term durability. The mesh is resistant to fading, stretching, and stains and requires minimal maintenance.
The design integrates with the rest of the Byron Outdoor Collection for coordinated outdoor layouts. Its counter height makes it suitable for outdoor kitchen counters, bar counters, and island-height dining surfaces. The stool is available in natural teak and Gray Teak. Gray Teak undergoes a finishing process that accelerates aging to a silver tone. Natural variations, marks, and texture changes will occur over time and are expected characteristics of this material. These weathering effects are not considered defects.
No assembly is required. Clean teak using a mild soap solution and a soft brush. Rinse with water and allow the wood to dry fully. Avoid pressure washing or abrasive cleaning tools. Clean Batyline mesh with water or a mild outdoor fabric cleaner. Use custom outdoor covers to limit UV exposure and reduce material wear, especially for Gray Teak finishes, which require additional protection to maintain consistent aging.

Body/Finish: Indonesian Teak
Teak furniture is made from 100% sustainably sourced Indonesian teak, purchased through legally harvested channels in Indonesia. Our Natural Teak finish is untreated teak, highlighting the beauty of the premium grade logs we source for our production. This swatch is indicative of the tonality of the wood when it first is unboxed, but may vary slightly due to the organic nature of the wood. As Teak lives in the sun, moisture and elements, it will naturally begin to get a silver–grey coloration which will increase in patina over time. This is part of the beauty of teak and does not sacrifice the durability or life. If the original natural color is desired, there are cleaning, sanding and oiling methods to bring it back to it’s original coloration. Weather Cover also are suggested to slow down this process and keep your furniture in it’s best condition.
Sling: Batyline
Sourced and manufacturered in Europe by Serge Ferrari, our Batyline is top of the line and designed to last with years of use. Batyline is an incredibly strong material used in furniture with slings for airy and supportive reclining; Resistant to stretching and tearing, the polyesterfiers are covered by a PVC coating which maintains its strength but keeps it easy to clean. Available in a few colors, here the Silver color has a mix of Black and Silver fibers, adding a nice melange dimension to the sling. We pair this with our Asteroid finish quite often, but it is complimentary to all kinds of our finishes.

Care + Maintenance
Indonesian Teak
- Maintain the original quality of the teak by applying Teak Cleaner at the beginning and end of each season.
- To keep the surfaces clean from dirt, mold and mildew, periodically hose with water and Teak Cleaner, scrubbing in the directions of the grain.
- For stubborn areas, use a power washer to clean. Hold the power washer approximately 30” away from the furniture and do not exceed 1200 PSI. Rinse and then allow to sun dry.
- Exposure to moisture over time can raise the wood grain.
- A light sanding with fine 120-grit sandpaper smooths the surface.
Batyline
-
For spot cleaning: Brush off any dirt or debris with a soft bristle brush or spray off with a hose.
- For a deeper cleaning: Mix warm water with a mild soap and clean with a soft bristle brush.
- Do not use abrasive cleansers.
- Rinse with water and dry with a soft cloth.
Special Considerations
"Gray Teak" is solid teak wood finished with a solution that expedites the aging process of teak to a natural silver tone. Over time, the natural weathering of Gray Teak will cause its appearance to change in color and texture, with possible marks and cracks. By ordering Gray Teak, you accept these characteristics and agree that no claim will be approved regarding the natural aging process of teak or the special color qualities associated with the Gray Teak finish. Special care should be taken to protect this natural finish.
