ALUA is constructed from powder-coated aluminum, chosen for its durability, light weight, and performance outdoors. The design follows the same proven concept as the ALUA dining chairs, with curved aluminum slats that support the body while keeping the chair visually light.
The powder-coated finish is applied over a zinc-rich primer to improve corrosion resistance and protect the frame from everyday exposure to sun and moisture. This construction allows the chair to remain outdoors year-round with minimal upkeep. Designed with longevity in mind, ALUA is built to withstand regular use in outdoor environments and is supported by a long-term warranty. Spare parts and repair lacquer are available to help extend the life of the chair if needed.
The lounge chair is available in a range of colors, including Black, Olive Green, Muted White, Ice Blue, Beige, Cayenne and Lemon Zest, making it easy to coordinate with other ALUA seating or surrounding outdoor furniture.

Care and Maintenace
Powder Coated Steel
Our steel is protected with a hard surface of decorative powder coat, that ensures a product that lasts for many years. To ensure good corrosion resistance on our steel outdoor furniture, we use a zinc rich primer. The primer makes the surface suitable for outdoor use.
Should the product get scratched or damaged, the metal will begin to rust. This will not spread, and does not degrade the product. A repair lacquer can be used, after any rust or loose paint is removed.
Installation, Placement & Care
No assembly is required—ALUA arrives ready to use. Its lightweight construction makes it easy to move around, whether you’re setting up for dining, events, or everyday use. The armless design allows chairs to tuck neatly under tables and makes stacking efficient for storage.
Maintenance is simple. Regular cleaning with a cloth and lukewarm water is usually sufficient. For deeper cleaning, a mild auto shampoo may be used following the product instructions. Avoid harsh detergents or solvents, as these can damage the finish. While ALUA is designed for outdoor use, storing the chair in a dry place during winter months will help preserve its appearance. Covers are not recommended, as trapped moisture may cause condensation.
Warranty
ALUA comes with a 5-year structural warranty and a 2-year warranty on the powder-coated surface. The surface warranty does not apply to furniture placed in coastal areas, humid or chlorine-filled environments, or damage caused by misuse or improper storage.
