The Gio Outdoor Ottoman blends European-inspired design with fully upholstered comfort, offering a versatile solution for outdoor living. Its sculptural, sinuous lines create a contemporary aesthetic suitable for patios, terraces, or gardens. Designed for comfort and style, the ottoman can serve as additional seating, a footrest, or, when paired with a Gio tray, a functional outdoor coffee table.

The frame is constructed from high-quality extruded aluminum with a top-grade European powder coat from AzkoNobel, ensuring resistance to corrosion and rust while remaining lightweight, strong, and easy to maintain. The ottoman is upholstered in Panama, Copacabana, Siesta, or Riviera fabrics, all 100% solution-dyed acrylic. These outdoor fabrics resist stains, mildew, and fading, making them low-maintenance and durable for outdoor conditions. The cushion inserts use poly-foam cores wrapped in a poly-casing to prevent water penetration, while reticulated foam allows for proper drainage and quick drying.

With dimensions of 56" width, 30" depth, and 17.4" height, and a seat height of 16.9", this patio ottoman integrates seamlessly with Gio collection seating and tables to create a cohesive outdoor arrangement. It is ideal for pairing with Gio lounge chairs, sofas, and trays to enhance functionality and comfort in outdoor living areas.

For maintenance, clean aluminum surfaces with mild soap and a soft cloth, rinse thoroughly, and dry. Waxing twice a year helps protect the finish. Avoid abrasive or solvent-based cleaners. Upholstery should be cleaned with a soft-bristle brush, mild soap, or Fabric Cleaner, then rinsed. Tip cushions on their sides with zippers down to ensure full drainage. Using custom outdoor furniture covers is recommended to protect cushions and frames when not in use.

Copacabana is a 100% Olefin fabric milled in Indonesia, offering exceptional weather resistance, faster drying, and greater mold resistance than polyester. Sourced from Sunproof by Ateja, it’s made from fully recyclable, eco-friendly materials and pairs beautifully with our sustainably sourced Indonesian teak furniture.

• Panama

Milled in Spain from 100% solution-dyed acrylic yarn, this fabric resists sun, moisture, mildew, and staining—making it a true workhorse for outdoor living. Its flat, consistent square weave gives it a lightweight yet substantial feel, built to handle the elements with ease. Sourced from Tuvatextil’s Agora range, Panama is stocked widely across our collections and comes in five colorways.

• Riviera

Sourced from Italy, Riviera is a fully outdoor performance fabric with a knubby texture similar to luxe boucle or terry cloth. Despite its soft, indoor-like feel, it’s made from 100% polypropylene, making it resistant to sun, moisture, sweat, mildew, and stains. Available in a range of neutral tones, Riviera adds refined, textured elegance to cushions and sofas. It comes from the Mario Sirtori line, an Italian company known for luxury, contract-quality fabrics since 1955.

• Siesta

Milled in Italy, Siesta is our premium outdoor fabric that delivers true luxury. Though it looks and feels like indoor linen, its double-thickness basket-weave is made from 100% polypropylene, giving it sun, stain, and water resistance. It’s easy to clean, quick to dry, and offers a refined balance of classic and contemporary style.

Care + Maintenance

Powder Coated Aluminum

• Furniture should be thoroughly cleaned often using a soft towel and mild soap.
• In coastal locations, furniture should be washed with a mild soap and rinsed frequently to remove salt deposits.
• A solution of 1:1 white distilled vinegar and water can be used to help remove water spots. Then rinse with water and dry with a soft cloth.
• Metal furniture can be waxed twice a year, or as needed, to protect the finish. Furniture should always be cleaned first.
• Aluminum Touch-Up kits are available for minor surface scratches.
• Do not use any harsh solvent-based, abrasive or stainless steel cleaners.

Upholstery and Inserts

• To prevent embedded dirt stains, use a soft-bristle brush to frequently dust and remove dirt from the fabric.

For everyday stains:

• Use a mild cleaner with warm water or Fabric Cleaner and a soft-bristle brush and rinse thoroughly.
• Tip cushions on their sides with the zipper facing down and unzipped to ensure that all water drains.
• Once completely dry, apply cushion covers and follow our tips below to repel dirt and moisture.

For mold and mildew:

• Soak cushions in a 1:20 bleach-to-water solution, wash with diluted dishwashing liquid, and rinse thoroughly.
• Power wash at 1200 PSI only; higher pressure can damage fibers. Keep the washer about 30 inches away from the cushion.
• After washing, tip cushions on their sides with the zipper unzipped and facing down to let all water drain.
