The Range Chaise Lounge is built using HDPE and phenolic materials selected for their durability and ease of maintenance outdoors. HDPE, or High-Density Polyethylene, is made from recycled plastic that is compressed into dense structural panels. The material maintains consistent color throughout and performs well in environments exposed to sun, moisture, and everyday use.

Unlike traditional wood furniture, HDPE does not absorb water and does not require sealing or refinishing. It resists rust, splintering, cracking, and corrosion, making it especially practical for poolside areas or coastal climates where outdoor furniture faces constant exposure to the elements.

Phenolic surfaces are incorporated where additional strength and stability are needed. Phenolic is produced by layering FSC-certified kraft paper infused with phenolic resin and compressing it under high pressure between protective laminate layers. The result is a dense surface that holds its shape and resists moisture and structural fatigue over time.

Together, these materials create a chaise lounge designed for long-term outdoor use. Its sturdy construction meets commercial-grade standards, allowing it to perform equally well in residential patios or hospitality environments such as hotels, resorts, and pool decks.

Materials

HDPE Finishes

Our HDPE Finishes are made from recycled high-density polyethylene, a durable material designed for long-term outdoor use. The recycled plastic is formed into dense panels that are structurally stable, impact-resistant, and color consistent throughout.

HDPE is waterproof, UV-resistant, and resistant to rot, corrosion, and moisture. It will not crack, splinter, or require sealing or painting, even in harsh climates. At the end of its lifecycle, it can be recycled again, supporting a circular material system.

Ideal for high-use commercial, civic, and hospitality environments where durability and low maintenance are essential.

Available in six colors: white, black, charcoal, slate, indigo, and basil.

Phenolic Finishes

Our Phenolic Finishes are made from architectural-grade phenolic, originally developed for exterior cladding and façade applications. It is constructed from FSC-certified kraft paper saturated in phenolic resin and compressed under high pressure with exterior-grade laminate layers.

The result is a material with exceptional strength, rigidity, and dimensional stability. Phenolic resists warping, cracking, splintering, and delamination while maintaining its appearance without refinishing or treatments.

Available in three wood finishes: natural oak, madison walnut, and loft ash.

Care Instructions

Simply wipe down with soapy water and washcloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or anything abrasive, such as a scouring pad, as that may dull the material. All pieces are scratch resistant, waterproof and will never need to be refinished or painted.
