The Newport Aluminum Barrel Outdoor Dining Chair is a fully upholstered, commercial-grade outdoor dining armchairs designed for refined residential and hospitality settings. With its elevated barrel-back profile, deep seat, and wide arms, it delivers structured comfort and a clean coastal aesthetic. This outdoor chair is built to pair seamlessly with Newport dining tables, it also integrates easily into a wide range of contemporary outdoor schemes.

The frame is handcrafted from extruded aluminum in our workshop and finished with a powder coating for long-term weather resistance. Newport metal outdoor arm chairs are available in Asteroid, Taupe, Bronze, White, or Bone, the rounded frame and oval-shaped legs soften the geometric lines while maintaining a strong architectural presence.

Concealed aluminum slatting provides durable, supportive suspension beneath the cushion. The outdoor arm chairs with cushions features quick-dry, flow-through foam wrapped in Dacron for a supportive yet relaxed sit. The wedge back cushion is Dacron-filled for comfort and structure. All cushions are designed for outdoor performance and are resistant to mildew, staining, and fading. 

This outdoor armchair is suitable for covered patios, terraces, poolside dining areas, and commercial hospitality environments. For longevity, custom outdoor covers are strongly recommended when not in use. In coastal settings, frames should be rinsed regularly to remove salt deposits.

Routine care includes cleaning powder-coated aluminum with mild soap and water, avoiding abrasive or solvent-based cleaners. Cushions should be brushed regularly to prevent dirt build-up. For drainage after cleaning, position cushions on their sides with zippers facing down and unzipped to allow moisture to escape.

Fabric:

• Panama

Milled in Spain from 100% solution-dyed acrylic yarn, this fabric resists sun, moisture, mildew, and staining—making it a true workhorse for outdoor living. 

• Riviera

Sourced from Italy, Riviera is a fully outdoor performance fabric with a knubby texture similar to luxe boucle or terry cloth. It’s made from 100% polypropylene, making it resistant to sun, moisture, sweat, mildew, and stains.

• Siesta

Milled in Italy. Though it looks and feels like indoor linen, its double-thickness basket-weave is made from 100% polypropylene, giving it sun, stain, and water resistance.

Care + Maintenance

Powder Coated Aluminum

• Furniture should be thoroughly cleaned often using a soft towel and mild soap.
• In coastal locations, furniture should be washed with a mild soap and rinsed frequently to remove salt deposits.
• A solution of 1:1 white distilled vinegar and water can be used to help remove water spots. Then rinse with water and dry with a soft cloth.
• Metal furniture can be waxed twice a year, or as needed, to protect the finish. Furniture should always be cleaned first.
• Aluminum Touch-Up kits are available for minor surface scratches.
• Do not use any harsh solvent-based, abrasive or stainless steel cleaners.

Upholstery and Inserts

• To prevent embedded dirt stains, use a soft-bristle brush to frequently dust and remove dirt from the fabric.

For everyday stains:

• Use a mild cleaner with warm water or Fabric Cleaner and a soft-bristle brush and rinse thoroughly.
• Tip cushions on their sides with the zipper facing down and unzipped to ensure that all water drains.
• Once completely dry, apply cushion covers and follow our tips below to repel dirt and moisture.

For mold and mildew:

• Soak cushions in a 1:20 bleach-to-water solution, wash with diluted dishwashing liquid, and rinse thoroughly.
• Power wash at 1200 PSI only; higher pressure can damage fibers. Keep the washer about 30 inches away from the cushion.
• After washing, tip cushions on their sides with the zipper unzipped and facing down to let all water drain.
