Rolled rim Pots 20" and smaller all have one band, while pieces that are 24" and greater have two bands. Both the 28" and 36" Pots are signed and dated by the artist.
This pottery is hand-selected from the most sought-after workshops in Impruneta (a commune in the Florence province of Italy). Produced by the best workshops who only employ master artisans, the level of quality is unparalleled. Each workshop is one that both produces and sells terracotta inside the Impruneta zone. (Lesser workshops produce their pottery outside of the area, yet maintain an Impruneta showroom for the address.) Our terracotta is heirloom quality, and it will increase in value over time. Terracotta Pots
These beautiful terracotta pots are frost-proof down to -20*F. We recommend that you lift the pots off of the ground (via pot feet, wedges, or wooden blocks) so there is at least an inch between the drainage hole and the ground for colder weather. Leave soil in the pots during the winter months, and avoid using saucers to keep the drainage holes clear.

Installation & Care
To use, select the appropriate size vase for your plant or decorative display. Position on a flat, stable surface, and pair with a matching Italian Terracotta Saucer to protect floors and surfaces from water runoff. For outdoor use, avoid prolonged standing water inside the vase, and during freezing temperatures, store indoors or under cover to prevent cracking. To clean, simply use a soft brush or damp cloth—harsh chemicals are not recommended.
