Designed with subtle curves and thoughtful proportions, the Antigua Lounge Chair features a deep, plush seat cushion atop a sturdy extruded aluminum plinth base, creating a floating visual effect that adds lightness to any outdoor space. The chair’s back and arms are handwrapped in all-weather Olefin rope, a signature feature of the Antigua line. This rope detailing not only provides tactile comfort but also enhances durability, resisting UV exposure, moisture, and general wear and tear.

The chair includes a quick-dry, flow-through foam seat cushion wrapped in Dacron for luxurious sink-in comfort. The knife-edge back cushion, also filled with Dacron, ensures ergonomic support while maintaining the chair’s sleek, modern silhouette. Both cushions are engineered to resist mildew, fading, and stains, making this lounge chair ideal for poolside decks, patios, and garden retreats.

Care + Maintenance

Powder Coated Aluminum

• Furniture should be thoroughly cleaned often using a soft towel and mild soap.
  
• In coastal locations, furniture should be washed with a mild soap and rinsed frequently to remove salt deposits.
  
• A solution of 1:1 white distilled vinegar and water can be used to help remove water spots. Then rinse with water and dry with a soft cloth.
  
• Metal furniture can be waxed twice a year, or as needed, to protect the finish. Furniture should always be cleaned first.
  
• Aluminum Touch-Up kits are available for minor surface scratches.
  
• Do not use any harsh solvent-based, abrasive or stainless steel cleaners.

Upholstery and Inserts

• To prevent embedded dirt stains, use a soft-bristle brush to frequently dust and remove dirt from the fabric.

For everyday stains:

• Use a mild cleaner with warm water or Fabric Cleaner and a soft-bristle brush and rinse thoroughly.
• Tip cushions on their sides with the zipper facing down and unzipped to ensure that all water drains.
• Once completely dry, apply cushion covers and follow our tips below to repel dirt and moisture.

For mold and mildew:

• Soak cushions in a 1:20 bleach-to-water solution, wash with diluted dishwashing liquid, and rinse thoroughly.
• Power wash at 1200 PSI only; higher pressure can damage fibers. Keep the washer about 30 inches away from the cushion.
• After washing, tip cushions on their sides with the zipper unzipped and facing down to let all water drain.
