Avalon Outdoor Swivel Lounge Chair
The Avalon Outdoor Swivel Lounge Chair is an updated version of the original Avalon design, now built with an integrated swivel mechanism and a plinth-style base for improved functionality. This outdoor swivel chair is constructed with a solid teak frame. The back and arms are handwrapped with all-weather Olefin rope, which provides durability, UV resistance, and added comfort. The piece is finished with a superior-quality powder coating to increase resistance to outdoor conditions.
The seating system includes one seat cushion and one knife-edge back cushion. The seat uses a quick-dry flow-through foam core with a Dacron wrap to provide support and comfort while allowing water to drain efficiently. The back cushion is filled with Dacron for consistent structure. Both cushions are resistant to fading, stains, and outdoor mildew, making the chair suitable for continuous outdoor placement.
The teak swivel mechanism allows smooth 360-degree rotation, enabling easy movement without repositioning the chair. This outdoor lounge chair can be used as a single lounge piece or as part of an outdoor seating layout. It works well beside outdoor sofas, daybeds, or modular lounge pieces and is appropriate for patios, decks, covered outdoor areas, and poolside environments.
Note that Gray Teak undergoes a finishing process that accelerates the natural aging of teak to achieve a silver tone. As the wood continues to weather outdoors, changes in color, small cracks, and texture variations will appear. These are inherent characteristics of natural teak aging and are not considered defects or grounds for claims. Protective care is recommended to maintain the finish.
Care instructions include cleaning the frame with mild soap and water, brushing the rope gently when needed, and allowing cushions to fully dry after exposure to moisture. Covers may be used for additional protection when the chair is not in use.

Copacabana is a 100% Olefin fabric milled in Indonesia, offering exceptional weather resistance, faster drying, and greater mold resistance than polyester. Sourced from Sunproof by Ateja, it’s made from fully recyclable, eco-friendly materials and pairs beautifully with our sustainably sourced Indonesian teak furniture.
Milled in Spain from 100% solution-dyed acrylic yarn, this fabric resists sun, moisture, mildew, and staining—making it a true workhorse for outdoor living. Its flat, consistent square weave gives it a lightweight yet substantial feel, built to handle the elements with ease. Sourced from Tuvatextil’s Agora range, Panama is stocked widely across our collections and comes in five colorways.
Sourced from Italy, Riviera is a fully outdoor performance fabric with a knubby texture similar to luxe boucle or terry cloth. Despite its soft, indoor-like feel, it’s made from 100% polypropylene, making it resistant to sun, moisture, sweat, mildew, and stains. Available in a range of neutral tones, Riviera adds refined, textured elegance to cushions and sofas. It comes from the Mario Sirtori line, an Italian company known for luxury, contract-quality fabrics since 1955.
Milled in Italy, Siesta is our premium outdoor fabric that delivers true luxury. Though it looks and feels like indoor linen, its double-thickness basket-weave is made from 100% polypropylene, giving it sun, stain, and water resistance. It’s easy to clean, quick to dry, and offers a refined balance of classic and contemporary style.

Care + Maintenance
Teak
-
Maintain the original quality of the teak by applying Teak Cleaner at the beginning and end of each season.
-
To keep the surfaces clean from dirt, mold and mildew, periodically hose with water and Teak Cleaner, scrubbing in the directions of the grain.
-
For stubborn areas, use a power washer to clean. Hold the power washer approximately 30” away from the furniture and do not exceed 1200 PSI. Rinse and then allow to sun dry.
-
Exposure to moisture over time can raise the wood grain.
- A light sanding with fine 120-grit sandpaper smooths the surface.
Upholstery and Inserts
- To prevent embedded dirt stains, use a soft-bristle brush to frequently dust and remove dirt from the fabric.
For everyday stains:
- Use a mild cleaner with warm water or Fabric Cleaner and a soft-bristle brush and rinse thoroughly.
- Tip cushions on their sides with the zipper facing down and unzipped to ensure that all water drains.
- Once completely dry, apply cushion covers and follow our tips below to repel dirt and moisture.
For mold and mildew:
- Soak cushions in a 1:20 bleach-to-water solution, wash with diluted dishwashing liquid, and rinse thoroughly.
- Power wash at 1200 PSI only; higher pressure can damage fibers. Keep the washer about 30 inches away from the cushion.
- After washing, tip cushions on their sides with the zipper unzipped and facing down to let all water drain.
Olefin Rope
-
For spot cleaning: Brush off any dirt or debris with a soft bristle brush or spray off with a hose.
-
For a deeper cleaning: Mix warm water with a mild soap and clean with a soft bristle brush.
-
Do not use abrasive cleansers.
- Rinse with water and dry with a soft cloth.
Special Considerations
"Gray Teak" is solid teak wood finished with a solution that expedites the aging process of teak to a natural silver tone. Over time, the natural weathering of Gray Teak will cause its appearance to change in color and texture, with possible marks and cracks. By ordering Gray Teak, you accept these characteristics and agree that no claim will be approved regarding the natural aging process of teak or the special color qualities associated with the Gray Teak finish. Special care should be taken to protect this natural finish.
