Design / Use Context

The Embrace Outdoor Stackable Dining Chair is especially suited to outdoor dining spaces where natural materials and refined craftsmanship take precedence over decorative excess. Its softly sculpted teak frame brings warmth to stone, concrete, and architectural outdoor environments, while the optional upholstered cushion allows the chair to shift between a more tactile, furniture-like dining experience and the simplicity of exposed teak. As the untreated wood develops its natural patina, the chair gains additional depth and individuality, making it particularly relevant to Wabi Sabi, Scandinavian, organic modern, and quietly contemporary settings. Its stackable construction also provides practical flexibility for terraces, courtyards, and hospitality spaces where seating arrangements may need to change or be stored.

Special Considerations – Untreated Teak

This is crafted from solid, untreated FSC-certified teak. As a living material, teak will naturally respond to its environment.

• Natural Weathering: If left untreated, teak will gradually develop a soft silver-gray patina when exposed to sun and moisture. This process is purely aesthetic and does not affect structural integrity.
• Surface Changes: Hairline cracks, checking, and subtle movement may occur as the wood expands and contracts with temperature and humidity changes. These characteristics are normal and part of solid hardwood performance.
• Color Variation: Each piece will feature natural tonal variation and grain differences, making every table unique.

Care + Maintenance

• To maintain the warm golden-brown tone, apply teak oil periodically.
• To allow for natural aging, simply clean with mild soap and water as needed.
• Avoid harsh chemicals or pressure washing, which can damage the wood fibers.

Storage: For extended longevity, cover or store in a dry, ventilated space during extreme weather conditions.

Untreated teak is chosen intentionally for its durability and its ability to age with character — evolving beautifully over time.
