Noosa Footed Teak Root Outdoor Stump 2 | 19.7"

Noosa Footed Teak Root Outdoor Stump 2 | 19.7"

The Noosa Footed Stump 2 celebrates the expressive character of solid teak root through a sculptural form that preserves the material’s natural irregularities. Handcrafted from sustainably sourced Indonesian teak, each piece is individually selected for its distinctive grain, root structure, and organic variation, while the raised footed base gives the substantial wood form a lighter architectural presence. No two pieces are exactly alike, making this functional accent especially suited to Wabi Sabi, organic modern, and nature-led outdoor environments.

Design / Use Context

The Noosa Footed Stump 2 is particularly suited to garden retreats, poolside seating areas, covered or open-air patios, resort landscapes, and hospitality lounges where natural materials can provide contrast to structured architecture. Its substantial teak-root form works beside lounge chairs and sofas or independently as a sculptural accent among stone, concrete, neutral textiles, and organic landscaping. Within Wabi Sabi and organic modern environments, variations in grain, root structure, weathering, checking, and natural movement contribute to the piece’s evolving character. In humid or moisture-prone environments, maintaining airflow around the wood and periodically removing protective covers helps prevent trapped moisture during extended periods of non-use.

Special Considerations

"Gray Teak" is solid teak wood finished with a solution that expedites the aging process of teak to a natural silver tone. Over time, the natural weathering of Gray Teak will cause its appearance to change in color and texture, with possible marks and cracks. By ordering Gray Teak, you accept these characteristics and agree that no claim will be approved regarding the natural aging process of teak or the special color qualities associated with the Gray Teak finish. Special care should be taken to protect this natural finish.
