The Rally Table Tennis Table is built with High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) and phenolic materials chosen for their durability in outdoor environments. HDPE is made from recycled plastic that is compressed into dense structural panels. The material maintains consistent color throughout and resists moisture, UV exposure, and corrosion. Unlike traditional wood or metal tables, HDPE does not rust, splinter, crack, or require refinishing over time.

Because HDPE does not absorb water, the table performs well in outdoor environments where rain, humidity, or coastal air may be present. The material is also resistant to both fresh and saltwater exposure, allowing the table to remain outdoors throughout the year.

Phenolic components add additional strength and stability where needed. Phenolic surfaces are produced by layering FSC-certified kraft paper infused with phenolic resin and compressing it under high pressure between protective laminate layers. This process creates a dense and durable material that resists moisture, warping, and structural fatigue.

Materials

HDPE Finishes

Our HDPE Finishes are made from recycled high-density polyethylene, a durable material designed for long-term outdoor use. The recycled plastic is formed into dense panels that are structurally stable, impact-resistant, and color consistent throughout.

HDPE is waterproof, UV-resistant, and resistant to rot, corrosion, and moisture. It will not crack, splinter, or require sealing or painting, even in harsh climates. At the end of its lifecycle, it can be recycled again, supporting a circular material system.

Phenolic Finishes

Our Phenolic Finishes are made from architectural-grade phenolic, originally developed for exterior cladding and façade applications. It is constructed from FSC-certified kraft paper saturated in phenolic resin and compressed under high pressure with exterior-grade laminate layers.

The result is a material with exceptional strength, rigidity, and dimensional stability. Phenolic resists warping, cracking, splintering, and delamination while maintaining its appearance without refinishing or treatments.

Available in three wood finishes: natural oak, madison walnut, and loft ash.

Care Instructions

Simply wipe down with soapy water and washcloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or anything abrasive, such as a scouring pad, as that may dull the material. All pieces are scratch resistant, waterproof and will never need to be refinished or painted.
