Byron Outdoor Teak Dining Chair
The Byron Teak Outdoor Dining Chair is part of the Byron Outdoor Collection, developed to provide dependable dining-height seating for outdoor environments. The collection features materials selected for long-term weather performance and structural stability. This chair is intended for use in outdoor dining areas, patios, and mixed-use living spaces requiring durable and comfortable seating.
The chair frame is built from solid Indonesian teak that is sustainably sourced and handcrafted in the workshop. Teak is selected for its inherent resistance to moisture, cracking, and decay, making it appropriate for year-round outdoor use. Brass stretchers reinforce the legs and add structural support.
The seat is made from Batyline mesh, an outdoor-engineered sling material with high tensile strength and UV resistance. It maintains shape without stretching, resists staining and fading, and requires minimal maintenance. The construction and material combination ensure consistent performance in residential and commercial outdoor settings.
This dining chair coordinates with other items in the Byron Outdoor Collection for cohesive outdoor layouts. It is suitable for standard outdoor dining tables and adaptable to various outdoor configurations. The chair is available in natural teak and Gray Teak. Gray Teak is treated with a finishing solution that accelerates the natural aging process of teak to achieve a silver tone. Variations in texture, marks, and cracks will naturally develop over time and are expected characteristics rather than defects. The finish will continue to evolve with outdoor exposure.
No assembly is required. Clean teak with a mild soap solution and soft brush, then rinse thoroughly and allow it to dry. Do not use pressure washers or abrasive tools. Clean Batyline mesh with water or mild fabric cleaner. Use custom outdoor covers to reduce UV exposure and slow natural weathering, especially for Gray Teak finishes. Covers also help maintain uniform aging of the surface.

Body/Finish: Indonesian Teak
Teak furniture is made from 100% sustainably sourced Indonesian teak, purchased through legally harvested channels in Indonesia. Our Natural Teak finish is untreated teak, highlighting the beauty of the premium grade logs we source for our production. This swatch is indicative of the tonality of the wood when it first is unboxed, but may vary slightly due to the organic nature of the wood. As Teak lives in the sun, moisture and elements, it will naturally begin to get a silver–grey coloration which will increase in patina over time. This is part of the beauty of teak and does not sacrifice the durability or life. If the original natural color is desired, there are cleaning, sanding and oiling methods to bring it back to it’s original coloration. Weather Cover also are suggested to slow down this process and keep your furniture in it’s best condition.
Sling: Batyline
Sourced and manufacturered in Europe by Serge Ferrari, our Batyline is top of the line and designed to last with years of use. Batyline is an incredibly strong material used in furniture with slings for airy and supportive reclining; Resistant to stretching and tearing, the polyesterfiers are covered by a PVC coating which maintains its strength but keeps it easy to clean. Available in a few colors, here the Silver color has a mix of Black and Silver fibers, adding a nice melange dimension to the sling. We pair this with our Asteroid finish quite often, but it is complimentary to all kinds of our finishes.

Care + Maintenance
Indonesian Teak
- Maintain the original quality of the teak by applying Teak Cleaner at the beginning and end of each season.
- To keep the surfaces clean from dirt, mold and mildew, periodically hose with water and Teak Cleaner, scrubbing in the directions of the grain.
- For stubborn areas, use a power washer to clean. Hold the power washer approximately 30” away from the furniture and do not exceed 1200 PSI. Rinse and then allow to sun dry.
- Exposure to moisture over time can raise the wood grain.
- A light sanding with fine 120-grit sandpaper smooths the surface.
Batyline
-
For spot cleaning: Brush off any dirt or debris with a soft bristle brush or spray off with a hose.
- For a deeper cleaning: Mix warm water with a mild soap and clean with a soft bristle brush.
- Do not use abrasive cleansers.
- Rinse with water and dry with a soft cloth.
Special Considerations
"Gray Teak" is solid teak wood finished with a solution that expedites the aging process of teak to a natural silver tone. Over time, the natural weathering of Gray Teak will cause its appearance to change in color and texture, with possible marks and cracks. By ordering Gray Teak, you accept these characteristics and agree that no claim will be approved regarding the natural aging process of teak or the special color qualities associated with the Gray Teak finish. Special care should be taken to protect this natural finish.
